Culligan of Southwest Idaho Receives the IBWA Excellence in Manufacturing Awards for 7 years running!
(Boise, ID)-Culligan of Southwest Idaho received the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) Excellence in Manufacturing Award, presented on February 24, 2007. This distinction represents the highest standard in manufacturing quality and acknowledges the hard work of a bottled water plant to ensure that the facility's Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are in compliance with the IBWA Model Code.
To receive this award, bottled water plants must adhere to the following guidelines: The facility's audit findings during the annual unannounced plant inspection exhibit no major nonconformances and three or fewer minor nonconformances. If these criteria are met, the plant is awarded a certificate for “Excellence in Manufacturing.”
"We're proud to be the only local water company in the Treasure Valley to receive this prestigious International award. Once again, our voluntary efforts to go beyond state and federal water quality regulations have been recognized. We spend tens of thousands of dollars more than our competitors to be sure our customers enjoy the safest, healthiest, and best tasting water available,” reported Bruce Van Camp, President of Culligan of Southwest Idaho.
The fact that this is the 6th year in row that Culligan has won the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) award illustrates their greater commitment to water quality. For any questions or additional information, call 343-1816 to speak to Glen Lincoln, Plant Water Production Manager.
